Jeremiah was one of the Great Prophets in the Old Testament. He was instrumental in cautioning Judah about the captivity by the Babylonians. He preached for more than 40 years, without the fear of men. But Judah did not heed to the words of God through this Prophet Jeremiah. God has punished Israelites with the captivity for 70 years.

Jeremiah : A man of humility, feared God more than people and king, obeyed God despite opposition, not diluted Gods word to please people or for honor or for money suffered for the cause. The condition of Christendom is just like Judah then. People are more religious than spiritual. The behavior and attitudes of people then and now remains same. No fear of God, People are after physical blessings more than spiritual blessings, Listening to their own prophets who are after the wishes of people. Prophets like Jeremiah is the need of the hour. There is much complacency amongst the people in the issues related to spiritual importance.

This ministry aims at leading people towards Jerusalem(spiritual system or towards the Lord Jesus Christ and His teachings ), not towards Babylon(world system)
